Reduced price of products, new services, additional licenses in bundles at no extra cost.
Faceware Technologies has announced new pricing of its 3D facial motion capture solutions for 2018. The company says that it has reduced prices on popular software licenses, new services, new hardware/software bundles. Effective immediately, the new pricing will benefit both indie animators and studios.
Peter Busch, vice president of business development at Faceware, said that the company conducted an audit of their pricing at the end of 2017 and reviewed their SKUs. He hopes that the new pricing system would attract new customers and benefit existing ones.
Specific updates for 2018 pricing include:
- Reduced price for Analyzer 3.0 Studio Plus: more than 20% reduction in price of Analyzer 3.0 Studio Plus software licenses. The new cost for a single-user license including the first year of support now costs $6,500.
- Reduced price for Live 2.5 Server: approx 10% price reduction. The new cost for a single-user license including the first year of support is now $3,000.
- New facial pipeline stage auditing service: Faceware will perform an on-site review and analysis of facial pipeline. Review of proper lighting, acoustics, as well as cable routing, operator control, and proper storage and maintenance of headcam systems will be covered.
- First year support is now included: First year of support for all software and complete systems is now included in the price.
- New bundles—additional licenses at no additional cost: all Pro complete systems now include multiple network licenses of each of the Faceware software products. These include:
- Realtime Pro Complete:
- Two additional Live 2.5 licenses
- Creation Suite Pro Complete:
- Two additional Analyzer 3.0 Studio Plus licenses
- Four additional Retargeter 5.0 Studio Plus licenses
- Ultimate Pro Complete:
- Two additional Analyzer 3.0 Studio Plus licenses
- Four Retargeter 5.0 Studio Plus licenses
- Two for one on network licenses: all network licenses of Analyzer, Retargeter, and Live will include two seats/users. Existing owners of server licenses can upgrade by simply updating their support subscription fee.
