A stellar lineup of key presenters are in each new track. Companies exploring new uses for GPU technology in manufacturing or M&E still have time to submit a presentation proposal.
Nvidia is expanding this year’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC) with new tracks for manufacturing and media/entertainment (M&E). The new sessions will run parallel to sessions on a wide variety of academic and professional topics on the rapidly expanding use of GPU acceleration for parallel computing as well as for intense graphics processing.
Now in its fourth year, GTC is hosted by Nvidia but the company keeps a relatively low profile, preferring the conference to be focused on the achievements of presenters and attendees. Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang (“Jensen Wong”) always gives an opening keynote to show off new technologies and set the mood for the conference.
Stellar lineups have been announced for both the manufacturing and the M&E tracks. Manufacturing track presenters include representatives from Boeing, Gulfstream Aerospace, and NASA. Speakers in the M&E track include Academy Award winner Douglas Trumbull as well as engineering, design, and effects specialists at the forefront of innovation. Vehicle concept designer and film industry consultant Daniel Simon will be speaking in both tracks.
The conference is March 18-21 in San Jose, California. The conference still has room for presenters in both the manufacturing and M&E tracks. Visit http://www.gputechconf.com/mfg and use promo code GM10NMN3 by February 18th for 30% off registration.
