The auto brands select NX software and the Teamcenter portfolio to advance their future car development process.
The Korean auto brands Hyundai Motor Company and Kia Corporation (Hyundai and Kia) have been busy winning prestigious car awards in 2021. Hyundai and Kia aren’t the same manufacturers. They are more like corporate sisters with Hyundai Motor Group being the parent company. Although Hyundai technically retains only a minority stake in Kia, practically, both brands share mechanical components including chassis, powertrain, and infotainment technologies. Both Hyundai and Kia have experienced a meteoric rise in a short period of time. And they plan to let the trend continue.
Recently announced a technology partnership with Siemens Digital Industries Software will help Hyundai and Kia accelerate their digital transformation and a new future of mobility. Siemens will provide next-generation engineering and product data management through NX software and the Teamcenter portfolio from Siemens’ Xcelerator portfolio.
