Cinema 4D R25 and Red Giant Complete win under the Graphics, Editing, VFX, and Switchers Category.
The winners of the third annual NAB Show Product of the Year Awards were announced recently during the virtual Product of the Year Awards celebration. The awards recognize significant and promising new products and technologies that were set to be displayed for the first time at the previously canceled 2021 NAB Show.
Maxon’s Cinema 4D R25 and Red Giant Complete are among the winners in the Best New Graphics, Editing, VFX, and Switchers Technology category. Other winners in the category include Blackbird, Speech to Text in Adobe Premiere Pro, Mo-Sys VP Pro XR, Viz Engine 4.3 and Unreal Engine, etc.
In September 2021, Maxon announced new features to all of the products included in the Maxon One package, including Cinema 4D, Trapcode Suite, VFX Suite 2, and now Redshift RT. The company says that the new interface in Cinema 4D 25 is more intuitive and tools are more accessible on several levels.
The Red Giant Complete compilation includes several modules including Trapcode, VFX, Magic Bullet, and Universe. Trapcode Suite 17 enables users to work with particles and geometric forms in the same 3D space. The Magic Bullet Suite has been updated for new Macs built on the Apple processor. It has also added support for Multi-Frame Rendering (MFR) in Adobe After Effects. Universe includes video transition and effects plugins for editors and motion graphics artists. Latest update of Universe can take advantage of MFR in Adobe After Effects.
