BIM Camp teaches skills to architects and landscape architects, and is designed for smaller firms. AIA credit is available.
The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a fast-growing field within architecture, primarily in large companies able to transition to new workflows. Smaller companies have a more difficult challenge. They need to keep all the balls in the air while they investigate new processes.
The Vectorworks BIM Camp is a one-day event for architects and landscape architects. The company has been holding these events all around the world. The latest one is coming up January 24 in Washington, DC. The camp promises to give attendees the skills they need to implement BIM workflows into their practices without missing a beat. The event is co-sponsored by buildingSMART alliance, Francois Levy Architect, Nemsetschek Scia, Michael Bomba, the AIA and Synchro.
Attendees will receive the BIM Survival Kit with presentation materials and other resources.
