Altair Inspire enables simulation-driven design approach with SimSolid integration

Altair has announced the latest release of its generative design and simulation software, Altair Inspire. This release enables a simulation-driven design approach through the integration of Altair SimSolid. SimSolid was acquired by Altair in 2018 to help designers, engineers, and analysts simplify the structure simulation process for complex assemblies.

Altair Inspire accelerates the creation, optimization, and study of innovative, structurally efficient parts and assemblies through collaboration. The application can run on standard laptops and workstations. The users don’t need expensive GPUs or special skills. Design changes can be made directly on the models. The integration of SimSolid will strengthen Inspire’s capabilities, making better design decisions with greater speed and accuracy.
