Archicad gets an AI Assistant

It seems that everyone needs an assistant these days, and not a human assistant but one that is AI-generated. The built-in AI Assistant in Graphisoft’s Archicad, MEP Designer, and DDScad resides within the design environment, poised to assist users and help them with a wide range of tasks. AI Assistant, in beta, is part of Graphisoft’s 2025 product release.

With AI Assistant in Archicad, users can get immediate support for time-consuming tasks, speed up model navigation, and onboard easily, so they spend  less time searching and more time designing.

For instance, with AI Assistant, users can:

  • Ask product-specific  questions and get answers instantly
  • Get step-by-step guidance on modeling tasks
  • Discover new features and workflows
  • Filter and locate elements in your model
  • Explore local best practices and design standards

The AI Assistant (beta) version is included in Archicad 29 (in Archicad Collaborate and Archicad Studio’s plans), MEP Designer Studio, and DDScad 21, and will expand across the entire Graphisoft product portfolio, according to the company. It is only available with subscription plans.
