Autodesk has acquired Wonder Dynamics, whose Wonder Studio is a cloud-based 3D animation and VFX solution that combines artificial intelligence with established tools like Autodesk’s Maya. The software enables artists to more easily animate, light, and compose 3D characters within live-action scenes, overcoming the barriers of entry to this work for many. As a result, it can help unite teams and their workflows—the crux of Autodesk’s Flow industry cloud strategy.
