Autodesk has informed selected journalists that it will make a “major announcement” next week regarding “the expansion of its AutoCAD portfolio of solutions.”

A few journalists will be given an advance briefing later this week, under a non-disclosure agreement that expires Tuesday, August 16.

The word “acquisition” was not part of any messaging to journalists.
