The animated short, as well as those from the other finalists in this category, are from French schools.
Future talent was on full display at the annual VES Awards as Autodesk once again announced this year’s award winner for Outstanding Visual Effects in a Student Project, a category it has long sponsored. Receiving this special prize was a group of students from ArtFX School of Digital Arts in France for their moving animated short film “Silhouette.”
