The seventh annual survey from Longview Advisors will examine trends and best practices in collaboration, data exchange and related issues. GraphicSpeak encourages readers to participate.
Longview Advisors announces its 2012 Collaboration & Interoperability Survey. For the seventh year in a row, the survey will examine trends and best practices for the use of engineering technology in important areas like collaboration, data exchange, preferred 3D formats, downstream data deployment, software requirements, data re-use, and more. Readers are encouraged to take the 10-minute survey at the Longview website. Prizes will be awarded for every 20th completed survey (see the website for details).
The survey results will be published in Longview Advisors’ free, annual Collaboration & Interoperability Market Report, which provides a collection of relevant and timely invited papers examining the latest strategies, trends and technologies in collaboration and interoperability. Longview’s Collaboration & Interoperability Market Report is a valuable aid in determining collaboration and interoperability strategies, best practices and processes in both manufacturing and supplier organizations, and the software companies who serve them. Many of the included articles cover topics discussed at Longview’s annual Collaboration & Interoperability Congress (CIC), held each year in May. The Report will be free to the public via registered download, when it becomes available in 2012.
“Our survey is a great opportunity for anyone in product design, engineering, IT or manufacturing to help improve the state of collaboration and interoperability,” explained David Prawel, president of Longview Advisors. “It’s a chance to translate 10 minutes into potentially big improvements for many fellow professionals.”
