Autodesk releases AutoCAD 2021

Autodesk has announced AutoCAD 2021, the latest release of the company’s design and drafting software. Autodesk claims that AutoCAD 2021 has impressive new features like Drawing History feature and integration with Google Drive. Some other features include quick identification of changes with Xref compare, enhancements to blocks palette, improvements to graphics performance, etc.

AutoCAD web and mobile apps have been included with an AutoCAD 2021 subscription. This enables users to access AutoCAD files anywhere on any device.

In the wake of Coronavirus outbreak, when users are working from home,  Autodesk has announced a temporary Extended Access Program for several of its flagship cloud collaboration products, including AutoCAD web and AutoCAD mobile apps through May 31, 2020. Autodesk hopes it will help customers collaborate and stay connected while minimizing business disruption.

The users can check new features in AutoCAD 2021 by logging into their Autodesk Account and downloading the latest release. A 30-day free trial of AutoCAD 2021 is also available. AutoCAD 2021 for Mac and AutoCAD LT 2021 for Mac are also coming real soon.
