Adobe forms Creative Collective

Creative Collective

With a look to the present and the future, Adobe is positioning itself as more than a tool provider. It also wants to be a catalyst for insight and community dialog. To this end, it has announced the Creative Collective, a strategic initiative aimed at shaping the next era of creative work.

The Creative Collective is a curated group of distinguished creative leaders spanning design, photography, filmmaking, illustration, emerging technology, education, and broader creative culture. These members, including founders, studio leaders, educators, and futurists, bring diverse perspectives on how creativity is evolving and what this means for the industry.

It is designed to:

  • Amplify real-world perspectives on emerging creative trends, technologies, and practices.
  • Surface actionable insights on how creatives navigate new tools, including generative AI and collaborative workflows.
  • Support sustainable career development and broaden the conversation around skills, mindsets, and workflows that matter most going forward.

Founding members of the Creative Collective include:

  • Lindsay Adler, fashion and beauty photographer
  • Brandon Baum, creator & VFX studio founder
  • Scott Belsky, founder, Behance
  • Karen X Cheng, director & video creator
  • Tina Roth Eisenberg, founder, CreativeMornings
  • Stefan Sagmeister, designer & storyteller
  • Don Allen Stevenson III, creative technologist & futurist
  • Tim Tadder, advertising & AI photographer

Adobe said it will continue to welcome new members to bring fresh viewpoints and help reflect the breadth of the creative community.

In the months ahead, the Creative Collective will share insights on where creativity is opening new opportunities, how disciplines are evolving, and what skills will define the next era of creative work across the following engagements:

  • Adobe 99U Conference: To amplify the conversations within the Adobe Creative Collective, the Adobe 99U Conference will return this summer for a one-day live experience on June 4 in New York City.
  • Creative Collective Summit Highlights: Adobe will share digests of the most important themes, questions, and emerging opportunities discussed in biannual Creative Collective Summits, to spark informed community dialog, and help creatives learn from one another.
  • Practical Community Resources: Drawing from Creative Collective insights and recommendations, the company will share playbooks and reports that dive into what’s working right now (and what isn’t) across creative disciplines, so creatives can grow their craft and careers.
