Shapelab’s identity has been tied to the 3D VR realm since its inception, but with its latest update, Shapelab 2024, it is expanding to the desktop, enabling VR users to decide whether they want to complete some tasks on their desktop PC using a mouse and keyboard. Also, the multi-modal offering means that those without VR headsets can likewise use the app. The new version of the polygon-based VR modeling software introduces several new features too, including the introduction of multi-resolution objects and subdivision levels.
