By the way, it stands for Nvidia Inference Microservices. NIMs were at the heart of most of of Nvidia’s Siggraph news. So was OpenUSD, as Nvidia has brought generative AI to OpenUSD through various NIMs. These advancements are expected to expand OpenUSD and Omniverse capabilities and accessibility to robotics, industrial design, and engineering, making it easier and faster for non-3D experts to build highly accurate virtual worlds.
