JPR expands its team

Jon Peddie Research welcomes Hernán Quijano as workstation analyst.

TIBURON, CALIF.(August 1, 2025) Jon Peddie Research (JPR) today announced the appointment of industry veteran Hernán Quijano as workstation analyst. Quijano has extensive experience in the workstation segment, especially when it comes to high-performance workflows and benchmarking.

Hernán began his career at an early age, analyzing hardware for 3D animation while still in high school in the 1990s, which drove his interest into electronic engineering and visual computing. He served Intel for 22 years in Colombia, Brazil, and the US; during the last five years, he led Intel’s global workstation sales, playing a central role in elevating the segment to record financial and awareness levels. In 2025, he founded CavalryHQ (www.cavalryhq.tech) to share his vision for the workstation segment, calling for collaboration among PC OEMs and hardware and software vendors, to empower and unleash users with state-of-the-art compute technologies.

At JPR, Hernán will be contributing his knowledge and assessments to JPR’s ongoing coverage of the workstation industry, including regular columns, news, and more.
