Following its usual pattern, Blackmagic Design announced a bevy of new offerings at NAB 2025, from cameras to switches, routers, converters, and much more. Included in its showing is DaVinci Resolve 20, in public beta.
Blackmagic Design is known for putting on a show, a big one, during the NAB conference and trade show, rolling out a wide range of new products and updates for live production, streaming, and post.

For post editors, Blackmagic Design announced DaVinci Resolve 20, a major update of its software that combines editing, color, effects, motion graphics, and audio postproduction in one solution. The update adds more than 100 new features and AI tools such as AI IntelliScript for creating timelines based on a text script, AI Animated Subtitles to animate words as they are spoken, AI Multicam SmartSwitch to assemble a timeline with camera angles based on speaker detection, and AI Audio Assistant to analyze the timeline audio and intelligently create a professional audio mix. Other updates include keyframe editing, voice over palettes, multi-layer compositing tools, new optical flow vector tools, and major updates to Magic Mask and depth map.

New DaVinci Resolve 20 features and capabilities include:
- Import Blackmagic Cloud Shared folders to media pool.
- New optimized UI layouts option for vertical videos on cut, edit, and color pages.
- Voiceover palette with cue, voice tools and teleprompter.
- Improved keyframing with dedicated curve view and timeline drawer.
- Text+ paragraph, line wrapping, and bounding tools.
- MultiText tool with layers and easy transform, clip, and wrap controls.
- Live overwrite now supports edit keys and search dial.
- Mouse drag to live overwrite multi-source and sync bin.
- Trim with safe edit avoids overwriting adjacent clips.
- Full-featured audio mixer added to cut page.
- Voiceover tool with record and monitor options in edit page.
- Chroma Color Warper grading.
- Display viewer overlays for remote monitoring.
- Stream and monitor H.265 4:2:2 on supported hardware.
- Deep image compositing toolset.
- Multi-layer pipelining for OpenEXR, PSD, and stereoscopic 3D.
- Vector warping toolset for image patching and cleanup.

DaVinci Resolve 20, which is in public beta, is available for download.
Pyxis 12K camera
The company also announced the versatile Pyxis 12K, a new digital film camera with a 12K RGBW sensor. This new model features the same sensor as Ursa Cine 12K LF with 16 stops of dynamic range along with dual CFexpress media recorders, 10G Ethernet, and Blackmagic Cloud global sync, all in a customizable body. The Blackmagic Pyxis 12K is available in three models: L-Mount, PL ,or Locking EF lens mounts.

The Pyxis 12K will be available in July for $4,995.
Cloud Backup 8
The company announced Blackmagic Cloud Backup 8, a new rack-mount media backup solution that allows customers to use inexpensive computer hard drives to back up media files quickly. Blackmagic Cloud Backup 8 syncs to Blackmagic Cloud for backing up collaborative projects in DaVinci Resolve. Plus, it features a rack-mount design with eight independent hard-disk slots, 4x 10G Ethernet ports with high-capacity hard disks, and an HDMI monitor output that shows storage status.
Blackmagic Cloud Backup 8 is available now and is priced at $1,495.

DeckLink IP 100G, a new PCIe Gen 4 card that can capture and playback up to eight channels of HD and Ultra HD video simultaneously into 2110 IP systems. It will be available in July for $1,795.
HyperDeck Shuttle 4K Pro, a new live media player and master recorder, available now for $1,495.
Blackmagic 2110 IP SDI to HDMI 12G and Blackmagic 2110 IP to SDI HDMI 12G-10 new 2110 IP video converter models. They will be available in June for $495.
Videohub Mini 12G, a new family of compact Videohub 12G routers for those working in limited spaces. Available now, they are priced starting at $595.
