Autodesk has entered into an agreement to acquire X2X’s Pix, a popular production management offering used throughout the film and broadcast industries. Pix fits perfectly within Autodesk’s Design and Make platform strategy, which links data, personnel, and assets used throughout a production and makes it available through a single platform. For M&E workflows, Autodesk’s is building out its Flow industry cloud, and Pix has long provided the industry with a secure, robust collaboration and communication application for project stakeholders.
